___DESCRIPTION: This set consists of two text volumes and a third volume of "Plates and Color Maps"; all bound in black cloth with gilt lettering stamped on the spine; large octavo size (in the slipcase, measuring 11 3/4" by 9"), 1750 pp. per the publisher. Housed in the publisher's sturdy cardboard slipcase, both sides with a picture, title and editor's name. Note that this set came to us still in the original shrink-wrap, which we have not removed (hence the glare on the picture).
___CONDITION: Not having removed the books from the shrink-wrap and slipcase, we presume them to be fine and as new; there is no visible damage to the slipcase or parts of the books which are visible.
