Elizabeth Bishop (1911-1979) was the recipient of numerous awards (Pulitzer Prize in 1956, National Book Award in 1970, the Neustadt International Prize for Literature in 1976, and the Congressional Poet Laureate from 1949 to 1950; many consider her to be "the most purely gifted poet of the 20th century" (n.b., quote from Wiki).

Note that this set is still in the original shrink-wrap and is as new (we used the ISBN number on the bottom of the box to garner the bibliographical information).
