This printing of the Book of Ruth is the Thanksgiving 2002 release by the Sutton Hoo Press. A precursor to other biblical texts the Press intends to print, this lovely little volume contains the text from the Book of Ruth (the King James Version), accompanied by wood engravings by printmaker and draftsman Ladislav Hanka. Hanka's wood engravings convey a modern pathos to an ancient text, through detailed linework and rich areas of black, offering new dimensions to the story.
