___DESCRIPTION: Four volumes (complete) bound uniformly in tan paper over boards with a blue shelfback, the fronts with blue lettering and facsimiles of Hebrew and Greek raised letters, spines stamped with gilt lettering and decorations, the text presented in the original language with the literal translation in English below, in the guttar margins the English text presented complete for ease of reading; octavo size (9 1/4" by 6"), pagination as follows (note the text pages numbered consecutively in the first three volumes): Vol. I (Genesis - Ruth), [i-v] vi-xvi [1] 2 to 708; Vol. II (I Samuel - Psalm 55), [i-v] vi-xvi [709] 710 to 1436; Vol. III (Psalm 56 - Malachi), [i-v] vi-xvi, 1437 to 2186; and Vol. IV (New Testament), [i-iv] v-xviii, 1 to 702.

___CONDITION: Volumes near fine, with clean boards, straight corners without rubbing, strong, square text blocks with solid hinges, the interiors are clean and bright, and the set entirely free of prior owner markings; some shallow scratch marks to a few of the boards, a few corners gently bumped, very small unintended creases to the top fore-edge corner of the final approximately 25 pages at the back of the first volume.
