A bibliography that is so much "more than a mere compilation, with Henry Morris commentaries, it is also a veritable history of his [Morris'] life as a printer and papermaker" (n.b., from the foreword).

"Detailed descriptions of all books published by the Bird & Bull Press as well as those produced for other publishers, up to 1979. Also included is a fairly complete list of ephemeral items and a list of articles "by and about Henry Morris...Certain ephemeral material has been included that would normally be unknown except to a relatively few. In fact, Taylor has unearthed some items which I had long ago forgotten myself [Morris]" (n.b., taken from included prospectus).

___DESCRIPTION: Quarter-bound by E.G. Parrot in Oasis leather and tips, with patterned paper sides, fore and bottom edges uncut; octavo size (9 1/2" x 6 1/2), pagination: [i-iv] v-vii [viii-xii] 13-108 [colophon]. No. 192 of 350 copies, this is one of the 170 special edition copies accompanied by a portfolio containing samples of various pages of earlier books, prospectuses and assorted ephemera; the book and portfolio housed in a clamshell box with a leather spine label.

___CONDITION: Volume is fine, with clean boards, straight corners without any rubbing, a strong, square text block with solid hinges, the interior is clean and bright, and entirely free of prior owner markings; the clamshell box as well as the ephemera folder are both fine without blemish.
