A scarce book which should be part of every Wodehouse collection, this an "ABC" book, beginning with "A is for Aunts, Of which Bertie has tons. Some he greets gladly; From others he runs" and ending with "Z's for Zambesi, The wild waters where A woebegone Wooster Became crocodile fare."

A scarce book from a small San Francisco-based private press, this lettered copy XX of fifty-two hardbound copies (there were also 100 softbound copies). As of this writing, there are no hardbound copies in the online marketplace and a sole softbound copy.

___DESCRIPTION: Quarter bound in aubergine cloth over aubergine paper-covered boards, silver lettering stamped onto the spine, aubergine endpapers, illustrated title page, four full-page black line drawings (Bertie Wooster, Mr. Mulliner, Jeeves, and Lord Emsworth) bound in throughout, the initial letters in red and running "PGW" in red along the bottom of each page of text; twenty-fourmo size (5 3/8" by 4 5/8"), unpaginated with eighteen leaves, hand-lettered and signed by the Stows at the colophon.

___CONDITION: Fine, with clean boards, straight corners without rubbing, a strong, square text block with solid hinges, the interior is clean and bright, and entirely free of prior owner markings; clean, crisp, and as new.
