___DESCRIPTION: Stiff brown wrappers printed in black, Eric Gill's engraving "Paschal Lamb" (P92) to front wrapper and "S D P and Cross" (P145) to rear wrapper, interior Gill illustrations include "Gravestone with Angel" (P61), "Chalice and Host with Candles" (P53), "Initial O with speedwell"(P110), and "Paschal Lamb", other illustrations include Chute's engraving of a hound in red on the title page and a small nineteenth-century engraving on p. 3; sixmo size (6 3/8" x 4 9/16"), pagination: [1]-22.

___CONDITION: Fine overall, the wraps clean and without measurable wear, a strong text block with solid hinges, the interior is clean and bright, and entirely free of prior owner markings; a bit of the wrapper paper adhered to the hinges (presumably from a bit too much glue having been used for binding) and a touch of sunning around the edges of the wraps, else fine.
