The first edition of this poetry collection by American writer and conservationist Hildegarde Flanner (1899-1987), with a two-colour illustration on the first page by Flanner's husband, an artist, Frederic Monhoff; published by The Lantern Press and printed by the Grabhorn Press.

___CONDITION: A very good copy, internally bright and free of prior owner markings, the text block strong with solid hinges, covers are clean, the corners straight and unrubbed; some chipping to the head and tail of the backstrip and one small hold in the delicate paper at the back joint; other than these few issues to the paper covering the boards a clean, lovely copy.
