[London]: 1858-1859. Hardcover. Quarto size, approx. pp. Very good. Item #33330422
This volume contains fourteen issues of a leading women's fashions magazine, beginning with November 1858 (No. 335, Volume 31) and running through December 1859 (No. 348, Volume 32). Most issues have three colour plates and two black-and-white plates, and a few issues have only two colour plates.
This copy is better than most, as the plates are overall clean with bright colours; a fascinating look at women's fashion during the nineteenth century in the prominent cities of London and Paris.
