This ABC book presents twenty-one breeds of dogs (the letter "Q" denotes the phrase "Quiet Dog", "U" for "Useful Dog", "V" for "Vain Dog", "X" for "Ten Dogs" and "Z" - well, is just "Z"). The illustrations for the title page and alphabetical breeds are photo-reproduced from an original 10" by 8" book printed in Holland in the early part of the 20th century (per the colophon).
