Long before camping, climbing and the outdoors became trendy, The North Face company was founded in Berkeley, California. The mission of the founders was to manufacture tents and clothing which would perform well in the most hostile environments, at that that time they also offered gear from other domestic and international manufacturers. We date this catalog to 1968 as carabiners from Bedayn and holsters from The Dolt Hut are offered.
