Austin: W. Thomas Taylor, 1993. Limited Edition. Hardcover. One of 40 copies of the deluxe edition (total edition 340), quarto size, 75 pp. Fine. Item #19050101

Plain Wrapper Press was the imprint of Richard-Gabriel Rummonds, a leading handpress printer during the twentieth century, who printed many fine press editions of well-known authors such as Jorge Luis Borges and Italo Calvino; this bibliography comprises Rummonds' work during the twenty years the Press was in operation. Like Rummonds' fine press publications, this volume, the deluxe edition, is printed with an attention to typography and elegance, a tactile as well as an academic experience.

The Foreword is by Decherd Turner (1922-2002), an ordained Presbyterian minister and an avid book collector who was director of the Bridwell Library in Dallas, Texas, where he built one of the largest collections of fifteenth-century books in the American Southwest.
