A beloved read that still resonates with audiences today, "A Child's Garden of Verses" captures the whimsical imagination of its readers, describing the delight, sorrows, and creativity in the lives of children; Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) brings his full literary prowess to this collection of verses.

The dust jacket is fair only; all of major pieces are there, but there is substantial overall wear, some large chips, and a prior owner made liberal use of old cello tape to keep the pieces together; it did succeed in protecting the book, but suffered for its efforts.
