Iver Johnson was a firearms, bicycle, and motocycle manufacturing company, named after the man who began it, Iver Johnson (1841-1895); this catalogue is an extensive list of the sporting goods made by the company, and it includes firearms, camping equipment, cutlery, and hunting clothes, among other things. The catalogue has detailed descriptions as well as black-and-white illustrations of the products, with the prices. An interesting look at sporting goods used in the early twentieth century.
___DESCRIPTION: Cream paper wraps, black silhouette illustration and titles inside black borders on the front wrap, description of the contents of the catalogue on the back wrap, black-and-white illustrations of the products throughout; octavo size (9.25" by 6.5"), pagination: [1-2] 3-436 [437-442].
___CONDITION: Volume is good only, the interior is clean and bright, and entirely free of prior owner markings; wraps have minor soiling, overall edgewear, back wrap has begun to split two inches at the top of the spine, half-inch chip to the tail of the spine, and some small creases to the interior pages. Although the outer wraps have some wear, the interior pages are clean and intact.
