"Graphic Charts" is a collection of charts documenting the movement of the Industrials and the Rails averages, beginning in 1897 through the year of publication; this seventh printing has charts up to 1946. Intended as a resource for students wishing to study the stock market and improve their forecasting abilities, the charts also form an economic view of history, including charts for the devastating stock market crash in 1929 and the ramifications for the following years.
___DESCRIPTION: Full dark green cloth on boards with rounded corners, the two boards bound with two chrome pegs that can be unscrewed to add more pages, gold lettering on the front board, grey free endpapers with dark green pastedown papers, title page in green with ruled boarder, charts printed in green on logarithmic ruled paper, one logarithmic ruled chart printed in orange on transparent paper near the front of the book; oblong elephent folio (11.5" by 17.5"), pagination: 113 unnumbered pages.
___CONDITION: Volume is very good; some rubbing to the edges and corners of the front and back boards, the inside corners of the boards are rubbed, the binding is loose at the hinges, and the grey free endpapers are faded around the edges. However, the interior pages are clean and bright, entirely free of prior owner markings, and the charts' colours are rich and clean.
