An early reprint of a children's book written by Lesley Frost, daughter of Robert Frost, with illustrations by Barbara Remington, grandniece of Frederic Remington. With the book are three original photographs, two of which have typed captions taped to the back. The first photo is of the Frost family in 1942, with Leslie Frost, her father Robert, her daughters Lee and Elinor, and Ricky their Airendale (the same photo featured on the back of the dust jacket). The second is of Lee and Elinor with a giraffe (who are also the main characters in the book), and the third is a portrait of Lesley holding the book.
