___CONDITION: Volume is near fine, with clean boards, straight corners with minimal rubbing, a strong, square text block with solid hinges, the interior is clean and bright, the clasp bright and the engraving unrubbed, fully functional; some light rubbing at the head and tail of the spine at the joints, the leather binding with the stray rubbed spot, aa single leaf (part-way through "The Communion") with some closed tears at the gutter margin, both ribbon markers attached but one shorter than the other, some scattered very light prior owner notations in pencil throughout (mostly marking the dates of certain feast days for the years in the early 1870s), and a few very old, small plant leaves laid in which have created some offsetting. Overall a lovely example of a very gently used, and much-loved, Book of Common Prayer from 150 years ago.
