This broadside features an excerpt from Marilynne Robinson's (b. 1943) novel "Housekeeping", which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and was awarded the PEN/Hemingway Award for best first novel; printed in a limited edition, the broadside celebrates Robinson's twenty-five years of teaching at the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop.

The illustration is by Viza Arlington, and it captures the mystery of space and wilderness, both external and internal, present in Robinson's text.
