Boston: New York Graphic Society, 1979. Adams, Ansel. First Edition. Hardcover. First printing, oblong elephant folio size, 137 pp., signed by Ansel Adams. Near fine / Fine. Item #16113130

A celebration of the stunning scenery of Yosemite National Park, this volume contains photographs by renowned photographer Ansel Adams (1902-1984); the breathtaking landscapes exemplify Adams' proficiency in photography and capture the subject for which his work is best known.

Nature writer Paul Brooks (1909-1998) provides an introduction to Adams' photographs; a prolific writer and editor, Brooks worked with authors such as James Agee, Rachel Carson, and Winston Churchill, even suggesting the title "Silent Spring" for Carson's seminal work.
