Grace Paley (1922-2007), an author of both prose and poetry, has been called "a seminal American writer". She described herself as a "combative pacifist and a cooperative anarchist" and had always been active in anti-war and feminist causes; her poetry, more than her prose, often reflects her political feelings. The Poetry Foundation says of her poems that they "display the verve and innuendo that energize her fiction". This the first, limited and signed collection in an edition of 125 copies of her poems first published between 1973 and 1985.

___CONDITION: Volume could almost be deemed fine, the binding is clean with beautiful vivid boards, the text block is strong and square with solid hinges, all pages are clean and bright, and the volume is free of prior owner markings; the head and tail of the spine, and the corners, have the slightest amount of wear and there is a single, small white spot on the front board, else fine.
